Hi! I’m Derek Mischnick, and I am an Industrial Design student studying at the University of Design, Architecture, Art, and Planning at UC.

Outside of my classes I enjoy doing community service, and I am currently involved with the organization A Moment of Magic’s chapter on campus where we work to help improve the mental health of medically venerable children and their families. I also like to have lightsaber fights with my friends, learning new skills, and making 3D printed movie props and replicas.

I am interested in how we can make products useable for those with disabilities like Ehlers Danlos syndrome, joint hypermobility, and other often overlooked conditions.
